| June Dudley says, "I am a country
girl whose life revolves around art. My paintings come
from the heart. Art is not what I do, it is what I am, a
piece of my life and a longing in my heart." Dudley's
paintings have a dynamic, life-giving quality. Her work
has a fresh and vibrant coloration which has become a trademark
for her work. Favorite themes include poetic florals, as
well as contemporary Western and Texas hill-country landscapes.
She has garnered her share of honors and awards, including
being chosen by Howard Terpning to have her work showcased at
the Cowboy Artist of America Museum in Kerrville, Texas.
she has also been honored with three Best of Shows, the Popular
Choice Award and the first ever Fellowship Award from the Bosque
County conservatory of Fine Art. |
